Author - Luke Beckstrand
OCTOBER 15 Author Event with Luke Beckstrand 6:00–8:00 PM
Join us for our first author event of the month with Luke Beckstrand and his book Axion: Spark of Life!
Axion: Spark of Life follows Aria Flade, a young linguist dismissed by her science-obsessed home world, as a chance reunion with a former classmate thrusts her into a galaxy-spanning adventure. Readers who enjoy space opera built on found knowledge, reluctant heroes, and high-stakes discovery will connect with Aria’s journey from overlooked outsider to the only person capable of unlocking a secret tied to an intergalactic war. The book balances starship action and alien-world peril with a rekindled connection between Aria and Drake, offering both adventure and romance for readers drawn to character-driven science fiction.
Star Wars meets Indiana Jones in this fast-paced adventure replete with starship chases, blaster battles, ancient mysteries, alien pirates, romance, and high-stakes adventure.

This is a ticketed event and will take place at The Rivoli Theater, right next door to our shop. Each ticket includes 1 signed copy of Stitched — Grab Your Tickets Here!
About The Book:
Betty Lou Dearden has been a member of the Ogden Quilters Association for more than twenty years when it is announced that the biggest quilting competition in the country is coming to Utah. With the clock ticking and a chance to finally beat their long-time rival quilting circle, the women welcome two young gay men to their group as they bicker their way to an award-worthy entry. With disarming humor and extraordinary heart, Eli McCann takes readers deep into the cozy but cutthroat world of competitive quilting and the sometimes-messy friendships that shape our lives.
